The road from Gocek to the house is paved with the exception of the last one hundred meters of stabilized forest road. The unit is connected to the village network of water, electricity and telephone and it has independent satellite data reception & distribution.

The three houses are all facing South and were built in 1997/1999 from original ideas of Serap Volpara and under the supervision of a local architect. Great care has been taken in respecting the natural environment and in using local construction material (stones and wood) and expertise.
