I've been working with voice, confidence and image for a few years now, and I see that people with strong charisma have one thing in common. They know how to hold attention. Without shouting. Without jumping. Without "look at me!"
Like Jolie:
She can just come in. Just be silent. Just watch.
But you can't help but look back.
Here are 3 really working exercises that pump up your inner charisma - and make sure that you are not just seen, but felt:
1. Silence with power: “1 minute without any unnecessary movements”
What to do:
Sit in front of the mirror. Set the timer for 1 minute.
Look at yourself point-blank, without facial expressions, without fuss, without trying to “look beautiful”
Goal: to learn to withstand silence and stillness.
Charismatic people are not afraid of pauses. They have no fuss inside, but support.
How it works:
You begin to notice how you want to justify yourself, move, look away.
But the more you can be present silently, the more powerful your aura becomes.
- This exercise is loved by actors and public speakers.
3. Eye contact: “I look without breaking through”
What to do:
When you talk, look into the eyes not to control, but to be in contact
Practice this with a friend or in a store: 3 seconds of looking, then gently remove.
How it works:
Charisma is not pressure, it's presence. People want to be noticed, not looked at.
You look as if you see and accept.
Charisma doesn't require a suit, a voice, or "leadership."
It comes when you hear yourself and let others feel it.
