There's a lot of (very valid) gripes that folks have with online dating but as a therapist I have beef with app based dating for different reasons. We're getting into the potential psychological harm that apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Grindr, Feeld, Her, and alllll the others can cause and also explaining why you might feel sucked into swiping sometimes! App based dating can affect your mental health, self esteem, safety, dopamine, and even your brain development if we're not careful so I hope these tips can help you use them more safely and maybe even use them less if that's what you're into!
