Don’t make these 7 tourist mistakes in Prague, Czech Republic ?? I made a few of these myself when I first came here! 1. Not buying public transportation tickets. It can look like the trams, metros, and buses are free because there is nothing stopping you from getting on without paying. But transportation officials do come around and check tickets and if you’re caught you risk getting fined. 2. Not waking up early to avoid crowds. Especially during peak season things get really crowded during the day in Prague. So wake up early to see the places you want without other people there! 3. It’s not legal to sell the real stuff in the Czech Republic. These stores only legally sell hemp products, but have some marketing techniques targeting unknowing tourists ? 4. Only eating in and around Old Town. These restaurants tend to be more expensive and less authentic. 5. Using Euronet ATMs. These ATMs charge high fees and bad exchange rates. I recommend using a legitimate bank ATM instead. 6. And when you do take out money don’t accept the conversion option. This is typically a bad exchange rate and you’ll lose money on it. 7. Only following the same sightseeing path as everyone else. Old Town Square, Astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle. All amazing things to see! But Prague has so much more to offer as well :) Let me know what you think about these tourist mistakes!
