I spent one month in Bali, splitting my time between Kuta and Canggu, to test the digital nomad lifestyle that looks so perfect online. In this video, I talk about what actually worked, what surprised me, and what felt different from the online image: accommodation costs, food prices, surfing, gyms, cafes, internet, community, loneliness, traffic, hygiene, and the bigger question of whether this lifestyle is really easier or freer. My conclusion is not that Bali is paradise or overrated. It is more nuanced than that. The lifestyle can be valuable, but only if you understand the trade-offs and build your own structure.
