Fethiye ilçesinin en önemli kamping alanlarından olan Katrancı Koyu'nun tam karşısında bulunan ada adını buradan almıştır. Teknelerin yanaşmasına pek uygun olmayan ada çevresi daha çok balık tutkunları için vazgeçilmezdir.
The island, located right across Katrancı Bay, one of the most important camping areas of Fethiye district, took its name from here. The island environment, which is not suitable for boats to dock, is indispensable for fishing enthusiasts.
