Opened in 1991 in the underground vault of a former department store in Berlin, Tresor quickly became one of the most influential techno clubs in the world. Emerging just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, it brought together East and West Berliners on a dark industrial dancefloor fueled by raw Detroit techno. Through its parties and Tresor Records, the club helped launch artists like Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, and Robert Hood, cementing Tresor as a cornerstone of global underground techno culture.
